Daily Crime Report is a free service to our subscribers.
But we have expenses, most of which are used to maintain
our site, prepare and ship promotional materials to neighborhood
associations, manage the database and deliver the email blasts
each morning.
We depend on advertising
(email banners) and optional subscription
fees to cover these expenses.
We ask you to consider paying a one-time optional subscription
fee of $15.

A
Citizens Guide to Police Speak
Our best guess at
what all those abbreviations mean (we
think)
We don't have a complete list of police abbreviations,
and to be honest, some of them seem to be created on the
fly.
But here is a list of the most commonly used
abbreviatons, and what (we think) they mean.
We know this is not a complete list - if you
find a new abbreviation, please email Daily
Crime Report and we will do our best to get a translation.
